Come join us for a four-week intensive workshop where we explore the power of EXPRESSION.
Each Saturday in October, we will meet for 2 hours virtually to explore, learn, and express. Each session will include:
Providing psycho-spiritual frameworks for understanding emotions
Regulation techniques for managing overwhelming emotions
Expressive exercises for mobilizing emotions in the body
Group processing/community connection.
And supplementary material for further deepening

All registered participants will receive recordings of the expression sessions as well as supplementary materials in between each week. Watch along at your own convenience!

OUR INTENTION:
Rarely are we taught how to identify, acknowledge, feel or express our emotions. Most of the time we are taught to distract, dissociate, ignore, or hide our emotions. In this workshop we invite expression, we play with emotion, we transmute big feelings into creative outlets. We explore societal roles, identity labels, outside forces, inner voices, and encourage building a relationship with your feelings ALL THE TIME!
Instead of feeling guarded and alone, feel empowered to invite others in!
Instead of shying away from anger because it scares you or it scares others, welcome it in with loving acceptance!
Instead of zoning out on TV and doom scrolling, tend to your sadness in quiet serenity!
This workshop will guide you through identifying, tending to, and expressing emotions. INCLUDING your joy and pleasure!
PRICING
Expression Session workshop prices reflect the following offerings:
8 hours of live workshop offerings, including:
Exploration/teaching of psycho-spiritual frameworks for understanding emotions, based in contemporary transpersonal psychology
Learning & Practicing coping techniques based in somatic & polyvagal regulation, dialectical behavior therapy skills, and mindfulness-based stress reduction
Active expressive tools! Express emotions live as a group with support in learning to access emotionality.
Group processing & community support to address questions, express awarenesses, and build connection.
Access to recorded sessions for additional review or to supplement if unable to attend a session live
Supplementary material provided after each session for deepening during the week between sessions (including books, articles, podcasts, videos, and more)

Meet THE FACILITATORS
As Transpersonal Counselors we believe in encouraging mental health WITH an examination of what system has defined “health” and “wellness” for us. Coming from a clinical background, we have experienced the limitations of the mental health system, and now hold a critical view of western psychotherapy. We see the inherent racism and oppression in the current mental health care model, and we aim to return to a communal and ancestral perspective of wellness.
We invite in spirit, creative expression, higher wisdom and collaboration with all the divine gifts each person has to offer. This workshop is a culmination of our gifts including counseling, mindfulness meditation, intuitive energy work, group facilitation, social justice orientation and expressive practices.
